Stevie Keys

Anyone who has been on a dancefloor in recent years is likely to be familiar with the sophisticated and diverse production style of this well respected DJ/producer as his music has been released on some of the coolest underground labels around, supported by many of the world’s biggest DJ’s, licensed to over 100 compilations and rocked innumerable parties worldwide.

Born in Adelaide, Australia and always obsessed with music, he studied classical piano and guitar from a young age, before moving on to train in sound engineering and completing a Bachelor of Music as a vocalist. By the age of 18 he had a record deal and had performed all over Australia, supporting artists such as Bjork and The Prodigy on their tours of the Southern Hemisphere.

Moving to London at the age of 20 he went on to sign record deals under various artist names including Antarctica (with seminal UK dance label React Records), Altitude (on legendary Belgian techno imprint Bonzai Records), Sound of Soho (with London based Deep House label Eye Industries) and Tremor (on pioneering Trance imprint Platipus Records.)

His many career highlights include remixing artists such as R Kelly and James Brown, hosting a weekly radio show on the internet’s largest radio station for electronic music DI.FM, compiling and mixing albums such as The Art of Chill (Sony) and having several underground instrumental dance tracks break into the UK charts and subsequently licensed to major labels such as Sony and Universal.

Now resident in New York he spends his time writing and producing and DJ'ing in international clubbing hotspots such as Ibiza, London and Thailand, playing a mixture of warm soulful house and deep melodic electronica, with an emphasis on originality of production and musical depth.
