What CAN I EXPECT?
Gratitude Migration is an extraordinary waking life experience.
NYC born, Brooklyn based, and Burning Man bred, Gratitude Migration is a convergence of east coast collectives, artists, lovers, and creators.
Founded in 2010, Gratitude*NYC has brought together theme camps, interactive artists, stunning performances, amazing DJs, VJs and live bands, along with consciousness expanding workshops, speakers, and activities. In 2015, Gratitude began our Migration to the beach in New Jersey, where we bring our experiences out of the Brooklyn warehouse and into the expansive natural surroundings of hELLO Beach.
Sounds cool. Is there an event guide so I know what’s going on?
There are always so many things going on at Gratitude Migration, from ecology workshops to butterfly parades; from yoga classes to sound healing; from psychedelic body painting to mermaid tea parties.
We will release a What, Where, When (WWW) guide before the event that will be accessible via online download so you can play your day – but remember, the best way is to be open, be spontaneous and go where your heart takes you!
What’s the layout and setup for all the areas of entertainment?
We have 800,000 sq feet of beach to call home, which we design into an unbelievable oasis of education, music, dance, and creativity.
There will be The Gratitude Stage, featuring DJs and performers, various theme camp environments, a live music stage and art gallery at our beloved Mandala Biergarten, and two stages curated in collaboration with our friends at Lightning Society and Junxion.
Music sounds great, but what else will be going on?
This year we are proud to present Mind/Body/Spirit, formerly known as the "Wellness Village." This beautiful place of peace, well being, and mindfulness includes the School of Dreams speaker stage, alongside a very special new addition, the Sacred Dance Temple, a drug and alcohol free place for conscious movement.
We will also have a "Center Camp" tent, smack in the middle of the festival grounds, where you can find shade, coffee, ice, an artisan bazaar, and open mic performances.
And that's not including the multitude of carefully curated and custom designed art installations and interactive activations. Get ready to open your hearts, your eyes, and your mind to everything we have to offer!
